I want to take a moment to sincerely apologize to my community. I was made aware of something I was unintentionally doing — and I deeply regret the impact it may have had on many of you.

Until recently, I didn't realize that increasing the price of a game on Itch.io using individually priced builds could actually remove access to players who had already paid. I was under the impression that once you purchased the game, you would always have access. Unfortunately, that's not how Itch.io handles price changes in that setup.

My original idea was simple: start the game at a lower price to reflect the early trust you place in the project, and increase the price as the game grew in size, quality, and content. What I didn't know was that each new price was treated as a separate package — locking out those who had already supported me early on.

This was never my intention. And I truly feel awful about it.

Thanks to one (understandably upset) player who reached out, I’ve finally been made aware of this issue, and I’ve taken action to correct it.

Here’s what I’ve done:

• The game is now listed as a standard paid product, with the Public Version available for free as before.

• I’ve sent an email to everyone who previously bought the game with a 48-hour redeemable code that restores their access at no additional cost.

• If you didn’t receive the email, or missed the 48-hour window — don’t worry.
  ➤ Please go to the game page, find the “More Information” section, and use the email listed there to contact me directly.
  ➤ If you can send me proof of purchase, I’ll send you a personal key to unlock the full game. No questions asked.

This mistake likely caused frustration, disappointment, and possibly even a loss of trust — and I completely understand. I only wish someone had told me sooner so I could have fixed it earlier.

To everyone who supported me in good faith: thank you. I’m truly grateful to have such a passionate and honest community. I’m learning from this and will make sure nothing like this happens again.
